It is widely known that Aquaflex is crucial for making better irrigation decisions.  It is not as well known that Aquaflex is also used to detect leakage from large storage ponds in the mining sector. 

Professor Ian Woodhead has been awarded the Scott Medal by Royal Society Te Apārangi for advancing electronic engineering, particularly in developing sensors for the agricultural and environmental sectors.
